Coaching assists managers to stay on track and maximise the performance of their teams and themselves.  The coaching relationship facilitates change and continuous improvement, assisting managers to make the most of their strengths whilst they work towards closing any gaps in performance.  It provides a framework for change—a system in which thought processes, analytical ability, perspective and decision making can be altered to produce sustained results.

The first step in any successful coaching relationship is to develop self awareness.  We do this by using internationally respected diagnostic tools which provides the Manager with a base point from which to measure growth and improvement.  HCM Global only use industry respected diagnostic tools which are properly constructed and validated.  These include:

  • Life Styles Inventory (LSI) - Measures thinking and behavioural styles
  • DiSC Behavioural Profiling (DiSC) - Measures behavioural styles
  • Emotional Competency Inventory (ECI) - Measures emotional intelligence
  • Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) - Measures personality types
  • Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) - Measures thinking preferences

Having developed self awareness, our Coach will work with the manager to ensure that they develop realistic goals designed to improve their effectiveness as a leader within the business.
